The Japanese member of GEDnet, JEMAI, has developed a PCR Library now accessible through the GEDnet homepage.

The idea of a PCR Library was brought up among GEDnet members, agreeing on the wish to have database of PCRs. This PCR Library should be considerad as a first attempt to meet the rapidly increasing interest on PCRs due to the international need for harmonization of climate related information of products. The PCR Library makes it possible to search for existing PCRs either by product or by country. The library does not guarantee access to all internationally available PCRs, but the main part of all global environmental declaration program operators are involved in the setup of the Library. In the future, GEDnet is planning for the development of an extended and more complex database of PCRs with elaborated possibilities to search for PCR information.

The PCR Library has successfully been prepared by JEMAI, supported by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, Japan.
