Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company, Limited, (TSMC) in cooperation with Advanced Semiconductor Engineering, Inc. (ASE) and Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI), has developed a Product Category Rules (PCR) document on Integrated Circuits (IC). This document has been reviewed by Environment and Development Foundation (EDF) in July 2009 and is available for download from the EDF website.
This document is the first PCR on IC in the whole world. Development of EPDs by TSMC and other IC manufacturers is underway. It should be of great value to assist the electronic and electrical industries to green their supply chains.
